Story

Cale-se or there will be consequences. That's what they tell us every day, in their words, in their actions, in this God-forsaken prison, Carandiru, everywhere we look. I am a political prisoner and I'm busting outta this joint. Just watch.

Historical Era

This game takes place in Semana Santa (Holy Week) Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1978. Brazil is under a US-backed military dictatorship and prisoners of all sorts including political ones are being tortured and killed, or, in the case of our protagonist put in prisons. This game speaks out against government/Police brutality and censorship.
